When I first made the switch to mac, I wasn’t looking at the operating system, but rather was looking for a computer that was small, lightweight, relatively powerful, a decent battery life, and didn’t cost a fortune. Most of the Windows ultralights that I looked at started at $1700-1800 and the ones with enough power […]

The folks over at MacWorld got themselves Psystar’s Open Computer to test. The Open Computer is the ‘Mac Clone’ Psystar built. They say that for a fraction of the cost, you can have a decent spec’d computer running the Mac OS.
However according to what I’ve read so far, It’s not that simple. For one thing, […]

According to report by AppleInsider, Apple is set to revamp the design of both the MacBook and MacBook Pro line of portables. Well it’s about damn time! Especially for the MacBook Pro who hasn’t really seen a design change since its launch. That being said the MacBook Pro uses a lot of design cues […]

There’s a discussion going on in the local Mac Users Group I belong to. Several members are discussing which is better to get, a Time Capsule or an Airport Extreme Base Station. With the current software update of the AEBS enabling it to do wireless backups when an external drive is plugged in, this is […]
